Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how CalculateCPM.net (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit https://calculatecpm.net/. The site is a static website (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files) hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We publish free advertising calculators and educational articles; we do not operate a login area.

Summary

  • Calculator inputs. Numbers you type into our calculators are processed in your browser to show results. We do not operate a backend database that stores those calculator fields.
  • Advertising. Where enabled, we use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-8351396994491171). Third parties, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, and IP addresses (or similar identifiers) to serve and measure ads on this site.
  • Consent banner. When you first visit, we show a cookie/ad choices banner. Your choice is saved locally under calculatecpm_consent_v1 and controls whether personalized or non-personalized ad requests are allowed. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we also intend to use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) configured in AdSense Privacy & messaging (IAB TCF) when that message is live.
  • Analytics. We do not currently install Google Analytics or another first-party analytics pixel on this domain. If that changes, we will update this policy and the banner wording before enabling tracking.
  • Contact form. Messages sent through our Contact page are transmitted via the third-party form processor FormSubmit and delivered to contact@calculatecpm.net. FormSubmit sees what you submit in the form fields.

Information We Collect

You choose to send us: If you email us directly or use the contact form, we receive whatever you include (typically name, email address, subject line, and message body). We use that solely to respond.

We do not ask for: Accounts, passwords, payment cards, government IDs, or phone numbers to use the calculators.

Server and CDN logs: Cloudflare (and similar infrastructure providers) may automatically log technical metadata needed to operate a website and mitigate abuse — for example IP address, TLS fingerprints, requested URL, rough geography derived from IP, and User-Agent string. That processing is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy documentation.

Cookies, Web Beacons & Identifiers

We and third parties (including Google) may place or read cookies on your browser, use web beacons (pixel tags), and process IP addresses or similar online identifiers when ads are served on CalculateCPM.net. These technologies help:

  • deliver advertisements (including personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your choices and applicable law);
  • measure ad performance, frequency capping, and fraud prevention;
  • remember your cookie/ad preference in localStorage (calculatecpm_consent_v1) so we do not re-prompt on every visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies may reduce personalization or prevent some ads from rendering.

Interest-based advertising controls: You can manage Google personalized ads and opt out of interest-based advertising via Google Ads Settings. More information about Google advertising technologies is available in Google’s Advertising page and the industry YourAdChoices / Digital Advertising Alliance tools where available.

You can reopen our on-site cookie choices anytime via the Cookie settings control in the site footer.

Google AdSense & Advertising Partners

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, and related technologies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

We do not knowingly pass personally identifiable information (such as your name or email) into Google ad requests. Calculator field values are not sent to AdSense.

Third Parties

  • Google AdSense — advertising delivery, measurement, cookies/web beacons/IP-based signals as described above. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security logs (including IP addresses).
  • FormSubmit — routes contact-form submissions to our inbox.

Each vendor maintains its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

Email and contact-form correspondence may be retained long enough to resolve your question or comply with legal obligations. We do not warrant indefinite retention times because mailbox backups depend on our mail provider.

Security

We rely on HTTPS transport and reputable hosting providers. No site can promise perfect security; please avoid sending sensitive secrets through the contact form.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

CalculateCPM.net is aimed at adults working in marketing or studying advertising topics. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child contacted us with personal details, notify us and we will delete what we can.

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You may have rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to limit certain uses of sensitive information. Submit requests via our contact form or email with “California privacy request” in the subject line. We may need verifying details.

European Visitors (GDPR) & Consent

If European data-protection law applies, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Contact us via Contact. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Our lawful bases include consent (cookie/ad choices via the banner and, where required, a Google-certified CMP for the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, answering inquiries), and contract (stepping through an inquiry you initiate).

Under Google’s EU User Consent Policy, personalized ads in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland require a Google-certified CMP that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). We configure that message in AdSense → Privacy & messaging. Until a certified CMP message is active for your region, ad requests remain paused or limited to non-personalized ads according to your on-site choice.

Changes

When we materially change how data is handled, we update this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
